Dan Frydenlund

Mr. Frydenlund has over 25 years of experience as a corporate turnaround leader and board level strategic decision maker.   He has an excellent track record as a proven private/public equity and debt fundraiser.   Mr. Frydenlund has a deep understanding of VC funded start-ups including direct P&L responsibility and talent acquisition.  Mr. Frydenlund was an early employee in OneComm/Nextel.  His responsibilities included all aspects of finance & accounting, merger due diligence and integration; rising to a corporate office in charge of Treasury. OneComm grew from $1m in revenue to over $250m and merged with Nextel after going public in 1993.  Mr. Frydenlund went to run the Sturm Group, a $500m private equity fund based in Denver.  He restructured the fund and 15 portfolio companies.   Prior to founding his current turn-around fund, he lead a restructuring for a Gores Group portfolio company; Real Software based in Belgium with $150m in revenue and 7 operating companies over 8 countries.  Much of Mr. Frydenlund’s effectiveness comes through his expertise in cost reduction, process redesign, revenue growth, and profit improvement combined with strategic and tactical financial expertise and strong qualifications in general management, and transaction structuring.
